But we went out today and at 9:15 ZZZZZZZZZZZZ
I'm thinkin' oh yeah, but
trolled 'till 1:30 and only got that one 25 lb. Rock.
Outta Solomons' - gonna have grilled Rock tonite.

ANYONE ELSE???

we went out at 6:30am started heading south at the patapsico by 9:30 the rollers were more than we could take there always next week

Buddy got skunked today but something hit and drug out his line. Heading out next Sunday for the action. Just cooked up the last piece I had from my 42 last fall. Damn I love this fish!

went out on coworkers boat yesterday.. only thing i got was a beat and sore body. skunked.. we trolled from annapolis toward south for couple hours and NADA!

Hey ric - you tried - most schlubs just stayed in bed.
I bet we were the only boat that caught one,
charters came up to us while we were hauling it in,
we never saw anyone get one.
Charters came in looking at us filleting the fish,
no happy faces. It sucked out there.
I would say it was a fluke,
(but that's a fish.)

I too caught the skunk today. Trolled around bloody point to the anchorage today from 7-11. Only saw two boats who caught a fish while we were out

I'm surprised anyone caught a thing, the water was dirty and it was crap out there.
Only reason I went was to take a drive to Solomons, haven't been for 15 years.
We get to the boat, and it's like a 31' Sea Rayish thing.
It's got a swim platform. (?)
It's got a door where they walk from the swim platform
into the cockpit. Can't climb over? I have
WRITTEN THE TRIP OFF!!

Yet, it has a decent cockpit
with that transom door. And a step up to like a 8x9 enclosed area, surrounded by
Eisenglass, dry, windproof, nice seating, the helm, zipped up and it was WARM inside!
This is where owners and friends hang out at the dock if it rains. It's a cool party room.
I am used to hard core fishing on center consoles -
when I 1st saw this PUZZY boat,
I thought :Oh, with this crappy weather and this
joy boat we got nothing." MY BAD!
HA HA HA. Capt. Derrick put us on 'em most folks didn't have good luck.
Capt. Derrik, wife Tracy, great hosts, splendid day! In comfort!
Friend Bill pulled in the fish,and the chartreuse umbrella off starboard shorter line.
Pulled the fish over the swim platform and thru the transom door.

Pretty efficient!

Water was dirty and it was pretty nasty out there mid morning. We ended up with 2 fish, 41 1/2" and a 35".

Small Craft Advisory.

Neighbor went out yesterday trolling just South of the bay bridge. They limited out at 11:00AM with nothing smaller then a 37. Biggest was a 45.

Went out of Deale yesterday. On the water before 7:00 and trolled 14 rods. Fished for 7 hours but only had one take down so no fish in the boat. Only saw two other fish caught on other boats. Great day to be out but I really wanted to have Rockfish for dinner. Picked up some Mahi Mahi and made fish tacos instead. Oh well, next time!
