The ATT has been mentioned here several times over the last few years. In the latest meeting they went after ammo, and did it in a DIRTY way. It will infuriate you.

Quoted below is the intro. Everyone should take the time to read the entire article.

Most will agree that the US needs to take strong action against the UN for these dirty tactics, and either defund or withdraw from it.

Shortly before 4:00am last Saturday morning, the two week long Third Review Conference (RevCon3) on the Programme of Action to Prevent, Combat, and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects (PoA) finally came to end.

Entering into the meeting several critical issues were on the agenda, none of which was more significant than attempts to include ammunition into the fold of the PoA. Getting ammunition into the PoA has been at the top of the anti-firearms agenda since the PoA’s inception in 2001, as it opens the door for calls to mark, trace, limit and require global register of its users. To understand this, you must recognize that everything at the U.N. must be viewed not in the present, but in the future, and just like the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) it is never about what is in the document when it is initially adopted, but what that language will allow it to become. Ammunition was the real issue at RevCon3, as including it in the PoA would mark an even more significant step forward in the anti-firearm agenda of the U.N. than the adoption of the ATT.

Has the UN ever really accomplished anything? I'm not sure that cholera, rape and resettling people amongst cannibals should count as accomplishments.

Blue helmets like little children and defenseless women. Blue helmets won’t last long in free America.

Those guys sign up to be blue helmets because they think it'll be easy. Easy to rape and pillage the locals, and easy to divert the aid money to themselves while locals starve.

I doubt they'd have many volunteers to come here. The reception would not be welcoming.

Hereabouts it would be particularly unwelcoming.

There’s a flip side to southern hospitality. It ain’t shunning either...

Doesn't stop domestic production. Doesn't stop use from using crossbows. Doesn't stop us from inventing weapons that don't use currently accepted forms of ammunition.

They can play dirty all they want. Eventually we'll show them that all they do will be for naught.

True, but it could interfere with imports.

Keep 2014-2016 in mind with the runs on ammo. Now remove imports and it would be a real mess.

The EU wants to ban firearms, with the Red Bear sniffing at their borders, and its big hairy paw on the natural gas pipelines that keep the EU warm in the winter, and provide hot meals. Not real bright, but of course they can rely on NATO, even though they fail (for the most part) to provide their treaty-obligated 2% GNP contribution to the common defense.

Will they also shut down their arms and ammunition factories? That will also turn out well, no doubt. The US will end up being their sole marketplace, unless they wish to support ISIS with arms and ammo. Well, why not? They already provide Iran and NK with nuclear bomb and missile components through their profitable back-channels.

Business as usual in the Globalist marketplace.

Let them build a new UN over in Europe mabe Brussels since a lot of meetings for the UN are held their anyway not to mention is the backup place for the UN in NYC when a leader wants to come to this country to speak to them and the USA will not let them in the country at all.
