Trying to post a few pics. Did the FAQs and search. Is there a min. post prior to allowing pictures? I don't have the "Album pic" link on the User CP page.
    Any thoughts? Thanks

I posted this on my local jeep club forum. Hope it helps:

I thought I'd do a quick primer for you new folks on how this, and most, forums work. First off, welcome!

    POSTING PICTURES:

    Choose a photo hosting site:

    http://www.photobucket.com (my site of choice)
    http://www.flickr.com
    http://www.imageshack.us
    http://www.tinypic.com

    1. Register (it's free, registration is similar to registering here)
    2. Upload (via the instructions on the home screen after registration) your photos from your computer, smart phone, or even from the nether regions of the internet.
    3. Copy then paste the [ img]url link of picture[/ img] code for the picture you want into your post. Make sure the picture isn't gigantic. You can change this from the "edit" option at the top of the picture in question, an ideal picture size for forum use is 800x600, DON'T post pictures much larger than this....it's bad forum etiquette and just looks like crap.

PM me if you have further questions.

That seems to be the biggest question for less experienced computer users. Now let's move on to some other questions.

After a half hour of clicking around, I managed to attach the above. Yet another 32 ACP; this one won't be arriving real soon, but it's worth waiting for, IMO.

If you copy the bottom Photobucket link, you don't need to click the yellow mountain. Plain old paste works just fine.

Copying the bottom link AND clicking the yellow mountain will put IMG tags around the pic
