Friend bought an AR Stoner 80% lower. Not much good to say about it. The pivot holes were not aligned, and the channel for the safety detent was not opened up far enough. I would say zero is put into quality control. You are rolling the dice if you buy anything from them. Get what you pay for.

Same thought I had initially. Midway is always advertising great pricing for thier products. Complete uppers for $279, complete LPK for $30. You would think it is cheaper made stuff.

I've used AR Stoner trigger groups and they're fine.

Bare bones/stock weight triggers. The primers go pop every time.

Mate and polish the surfaces and they are much more usable.

Sidetracking my own thread, since I need a full LPK I'm going with an alternative from PSA: http://palmettostatearmory.com/palmetto-state-armory-moe-qms-lpk.html - gives the Magpul grip and an ALG trigger I have more confidence in for $60 plus shipping right now. Impressions when I get it built...

(We should have a "compare your triggers" range day some time, MDS-style!)

That looks like a great deal. My PSA lower parts builds (well - only one) have so far been fine. I think I used Rock River for two and Anderson for another. Probably not wise to be cheap with LPK - but PSA is solid as far as I know. And the ALG triggers are great.

I am seeing a lot of AR Stoner products for great prices. Makes you wonder.

My 20" HBAR SS 1:8 .223 wylde barrel is pretty good. Shoots sub MOA with IMI m855. I haven't shoot enough other stuff scoped through it to be confident on accuracy with most heavier stuff. Shoots a little under 2MOA with bottom barrel .223 55gr and m193. I've only put I think 5 brands through it scoped and a few with irons only. Only taken it out twice since I built it.
