A city of 600,000 exceeds that of a city of 8 million?

And exceeds the per capita rate of Chicago

Great job MGA and Marty O.

FSA 2013 working as all liberal gun control schemes do.

    Not at all.

Did anyone think otherwise? Of course the politicians will simply say that the 2013 gun control laws were merely a "first step" and the murders in Baltimore only prove the need for more anti-gun laws. It's a reflex with them. You can't expect otherwise when their heads are buried in the sand...well...I'm just saying sand. We all know what their heads are really buried in.

And yet the ENTIRE Baltimore City Council will likely be reelected and if they aren't will be replaced by another Democrat....it has worked out so well for them.

Governor Hogan has the correct response. Continue to cut funding to that war zone until they decide to get their act together. Millions of dollars to a "justice fund" in Baltimore where hundreds of people will die this year. Such a joke.

The City government all but shut down over funding Operation Safe Streets in which many of the leaders were arrested and search warrants were served on at least one center recovering guns and drugs from it. How insane.

Serious question: what makes Baltimore more violent than other major cities? Many of the excusers blame it on poverty. What do the numbers say? I can't believe Baltimore is a worse environment than Detroit. In Baltimore you can ride a train to work in DC and make a lot of money.

Interesting and complex question.... at the risk of over-simplification, I'd say, the breakdown of the traditional family unit and social mores caused by generations of dependency on government programs and liberal ideology.

But I wouldn't argue that Detroit and SE DC are any better.
