I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place, but I have a sort of dumb question that I haven't really been able to find an answer to. I'm just curious what kind/brands of mags work in DPMS 308's? According to their website, they only mention Magpul, but will other 308 mags work?

Again, sorry for the dumb question. Thanks in advance!

magpul's worked great in my dpms lr-308 and also my les baer monolith 308. sure that others will work, but i wouldn't look elsewhere. great price and they definitely work. if you do want to try something else just make sure they are patterned for dpms/lr308. armalite makes a 308 that takes proprietary mags (m-14-based IIRC) although i think they also make dpms/lr308 patterned rifles now.

Magpul is the best...no need to look elsewhere unless you have an earlier AR-10 that uses modified M14 magazines or a few other rifles that use something different. Most 7.62 rifles based on the AR-style design have transitioned to the Pmag by now.
