I question the use of the word "official" in their ad. Officially designated by whom? I see no sole Govt. recognition of their program.

Some of us are a bit skeptical of dcconcealedcarry.com. It might be misplaced concern but here's what I have found by a little research.
The location of the business is an Intelligent Office down on K St. Basically rented temporary office space to give you an address for advertising. The classroom stuff is being done there as well. DC Concealed carry just rents space as needed. Maybe it's a good business model, I don't know. Just something to think about.
Range is MSAR, but no info or bios on instructors at all. Maybe they contract with other instructors. But they should inform you of this IMO.
A Whois domain query shows the domain registration contact information is hidden. Why? It seems someone is going to quite a bit of trouble to conceal information. I called and a woman's voice was on the VM message.
To be transparent, I am getting my DC training from Cypherpunk's upcoming classes, so I have no vested interest in DC training from elsewhere. But the site seems overly slick to me with no information I'd want first. It smacks of someone some of us are familair with. As was communicated to me, it seems to be UNcommon in it's presentation. But maybe I'm just paranoid and my tinfoil hat is on too tight. I do take exception with their use of the word OFFICIAL on their web site. If DC has not officially recognized and endorsed this business, they're not official anything. Just a little clue as to who may be running this business. skeptical? a bit. Prove us wrong.
I just think a few questions need to be answered before I'd commit to doing business with this outfit. Maybe someone here can enlighten the rest of us.

I'm not saying they are legit; but just because their site is well protected doesn't mean it's derived by a nefarious group.
No one is saying that. We are saying there are some signs that make it worth further scrutiny before using their services.

I'd be using our own folks here, should I decide to apply some day, but IMO anyone thinking of using these guys should think again, as it could be anything from a fly by night, to a shyster, to a way to monitor applicants.

Yep, we have IP's here who can provide the training. And they're not seemingly hiding anything.

She sitated "Leon Spears," who upon my checking, is a DC certified instructor. He also runs a consulting business with varied disciplines in emergency management and other related areas. He seems to have no ties to the DC Government, which makes me question why the web site says "Official" site for DC carry. Words matter guys.
While this answers some questions, some others are not completely clear.
