May be good for some folks. I won't be going there though. Got no use for them.

They have been building it for a while. I was told that you could BYO ammo. I'll believe it when I see it. Maybe some of the idiots that come down to MG will migrate to Freds.

If they have a good selection of rentals it could be good for folks who aren't really sure what they want. A range in texas I used to go to had a deal where for like 25 bucks, you could rent three guns for 2 hours and it came with a box of ammo.

Great type of idea for those who aren't familiar with guns and want to try several out to see what fits them best.

Are they still going to sell Furniture? For Guns and Ammo Freds is garbage, for Oak Furniture at a good price they were like a sore dick, hard to beat.

Good luck to them, but with their participation in the ammo log, I won't be patronizing them for anything.

    They won't see my money.

Maybe they said the ammo log wasn't enough and now need a gun range to catch prohibited persons from handling firearms?

The sad thing is that. A long long time ago in a store that is far far away freds was a good place to deal with. Now they are no fun to deal with, it is ashame they wont listen to the customers and chang for the better.

Does Fred's still log handgun ammo?
If so I will not be going there ever again new range or not!

I ran into the owner at Tractor Supply one day and he said that they are not using it anymore. I will be up in Waldorf later today... I would be willing to buy a box of ammo and test them.

If they no longer have that MSP ammo log I just might consider spending my money there once again. Please let me know what you find out.

I went in there a couple of times and felt very unwelcome. The way they run the store is like it is a front. They must have another source of income. They don't even try to move the furniture.
