    Morning star PS-30 under $180. Those are 6v so I would go to the Morningstar website and look that up. You'll need the solar panel(s) which will cost a lot more.

    And no clue how much life those deep cycle batteries have left. Its a nominal 67kwh of storage (which is a HUGE amount). But if they've got half their capacity left...

    For your average house, without any power saving, you'd probably want in the range of around 30-40kwh of storage. For something really designed for off grid (IE low energy appliances, well insulated, LED lighting, etc.) you could probably get away with 15-20kwh.

Check out The Grease Monkey on youtube and see the setup he has for his off grid silverside bus converted into a RV and living in the middle of nowhere with just solar.. He has ALL the video of how he did it and why he chose those batteries and all kinds of info.
