Well since I just sent my stripped slide off for a refinish and sights I’d have to say yes, that seems to be my luck. 
Haven’t heard that, but I would think they could make more?

Gun companies unlike Car companies don't have to maintain a supply of parts for 10 years for models that are discontinued , But since they will be doing limited runs I don't think it's going to be all that bad for a "Glock Owner" , If your doing a 80% gun you may have to do after market all the way and that industry will step up to fill the void .

My wife’s new, FTF carry mini is at glock, Ga. for 3 weeks tomorrow. Checking on it a couple of days ago they had not touched it. Blue label dealer thinks they don’t have parts, but they won’t say that. “It’sin the cue”. Blue label program was intended to create goodwill among users at the largest buyers? Not so happy here.
