I decided to buy one of those Harbor Freight rock tumblers and some walnut medium to see if it does any better than my current method of washing brass with laundry detergent and water. It seems to work a little better cleaning up the outside surface of the brass. I have no idea what combination of brass and medium I should be using. Half and half?
