I have the Knoxx on my 870!!! I just think it looks better than the ATI. I'm not sure what it is...

Well, I guess you can call it a folder but since it doesn't fold in half I don't call it a folder, lol. Some people might have a hard time saying telescoping stock or whatever ;)

Well, Wikipedia describes telescoping stock as one that folds "into" itself so I guess we can call it a folding stock. :)

Edit: I am relatively new to this world so my terminology might be off a little. But I do know the difference between "clip" and "magazine". :D

I was looking for an economical semi auto....Sears M300 (Winchester 1400) I price I couldn't walk away from it. Shoots real smooth and wait to take it to trap. There's a plug or a dowel rod in the mag tube, I just haven't figued out how to remove it just yet. I definitely have "scatterpox"

Yeah you do. It's contagious. I just hope it's airborne, 'cause if it isn't, I don't wanna know how you contracted it from Shotgun Joe. :lol2:

That's a beauty. BTW, you have me considering dumping my 9mm and getting another shotgun. I'm looking at what Doc's in Greenville has.

I do believe on most shotguns you just unscrew the magazine cap and the follower should push the dowel out so it can be removed. Looks real nice FPS :D.

I"ve tried that. I think I have to remove the follower in order to get this one out. it holds 2 in the magtube.

    You're not gonna like this:

The Winchester 1400 does not have a plug, so it cannot be removed. There is only room for 2 shells, unlike the 1200/1300 pump which can hold 4 shells with the plug removed. The end of the magazine tube is where the gas piston is installed. If you look at the tube, you will see that it is crimped about half way down, separating the tube into two sections. One section acts as the magazine while the other acts as the gas cylinder (used to operate the action upon firing).

To remove the gas piston, unscrew the magazine cap, insert a screw driver into the recoil spring and hold it towards the butt of the gun. The pin connecting the carrier to the piston can then be pulled up and out. WARNING: WITH THIS PIN REMOVED, THE PISTON AND RECOIL SPRING ARE FREE TO FLY OUT OF THE MAGAZINE TUBE WITH MUCH FORCE! MAKE SURE YOU RESTRAIN THE PISTON AND SPRING PROPERLY! The piston and recoil spring are removed from the front of the magazine tube.
