How far away are we from having a scope where windage and elevation is controlled electronically with precision motors?

The scope could learn all the weather conditions and location through GPS, and use a laser to determine distance. After adjusting for all variables with an internal ballistic calculator, it could adjust the scope so that you only had to pull the trigger.

I would say possible very much so but size and cost are two big factors. Look what 30 years has done for cell phones.

My new Iphone gives me problems on a regular basis and needs to be restarted. I'd rather not find out what happens when the firmware in my optic decides to start acting up.
