    Hello Everyone,
I haven't bought a handgun in MD in over 20 years, so I'm trying to wrap my head around all the changes. I'm getting my HQL as I speak, so that is taken care of. In the HQL class they said you must buy a borelock to take a gun out of the store. OK, whatever. I plan to purchase a used Ruger Super Single Six (22LR), but I can't find a borelock to fit a .22. Is there some other type of lock that can be used with a single action 22?

Some shops will require you to buy theirs and some will just require you to bring your own. Ask the shop your dealing with before you buy one anywhere else.

Some will let "buy" to walk to your car and return it after the firearm is stowed away.
