Any recommendations for sites/reading on tactics and maneuvers on the squad level. My son and his friends have gotten into airsoft and could use some info to help them.

Get a copy of Hardee's Tactics.
If you were interested in doing training, Max Velocity Tactical does classes on this once in a while. They are not cheap, and they have a somewhat mixed reputation on here, but they are basically the only place in the area that teaches this skill set.

Go train with that dude in WV who came on here a few years ago talking up his school and then insulted everyone here.
Max also has a book. It pretty much sucks though. I don't think his classes are overpriced FWIW - consider that they are 4 days in length.
How big is the squad? Is it an USMC squad of 13 or an Army squad of 9? You can use a fire team, 4 men, as a fire and maneuver element. Terrain and cover will dictate how you maneuver and how you lay down suppressive fire.

Typically whoever gets assigned to their side when they start. Usually play at Paintball Adventure Park in Taneytown. Typically squad size could be anywhere from 4-12.
