EDC - Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Salt Lightweight with serrated edge. It is under the 2 1/2" limit for the Fed building I work in.

Just tonight I ordered a Spyderco Salt 2 with plain edge for use on the boat. It's a little bigger and a little handier but with the 3" blasé it is too big for my day job.

FWIW - Spyderco has a heck of a discount program for active & retired law enforcement, fireman and military. I got them directly from Spyderco for half of their list price.

I have that dragonfly in H1 and it’s a sweet little knife. I can throw it in a backpack in the summer or at the beach and not worry about it corroding.

And yes, the Spyderco discount is awesome. I’m a regular and loyal customer because of it.

Here’s what’s in my pocket today...also courtesy of the Spyderco discount.

A couple of new folders that I picked up recently. Benchmade 555-1 that I replaced the screws with blue titanium ones and a Lionsteel SR-2. I am really happy with both of them.

Finding a lost knife is like running into an old friend. This ZT 566 was in a pair of jeans that were tucked away some time ago after being washed and dried. Was so bummed after it disappeared, that I ended up buying another ZT to fill the void. Knife is operating smoothly with no discernable rust (phew), but is getting relubed for good measure.

Lol, I know what you mean about a lost knife. A few years ago I lost one of my favorite Kershaws. I looked in a few places and gave up. About 6 months later I was borrowing my dads car and opened the armrest to look for a phone charger and the knife was in there. :whack:

I also looked in car seats, under car seats, in the couch, etc. Took me months to accept that it was gone. I tried carrying a Spyderco during that time, but missed the concentrated mass of the ZT, so ordered another one (different model, but another Rick Hinderer design). It's been at least a half year, and I needed to go to my backup supply of jeans, where I spotted it almost immediately. I smiled and was genuinely elated seeing this long lost friend once again.

A friend recently acquired this sword and is looking for a place to have it appraised, any help?
    It’s a 15th century Spanish knighting sword.

Two Dragonflys. One a Dragonfly Salt II serrated, the other plain edge and a Spyderedge Salt II.

The Dragonflys have a < 2 1/2" blade so I can carry it in the Federal Building at work.

FYI - On the Dragonflys, you need to take a micro-torx screwdriver, remove the clip screw and reinstall it with Loctite or it will eventually come loose on you. Be careful that you put the clip back on on the side you want. I got in a hurry and screwed up and reinstalled it on opposite side I wanted. Did not realize it until the Red Loctite had set - there was no switching it back around at that point.

These people will tell you what it is exactly. You will have to PM someone on the sight for an appraisal; they don't do pricing in the open forum. Extremely knowledgeable group.
