Speaking of FSA2013 facts, how many firearm-involved crimes has FSA2013 prevented?

Minimal probably but a confiscated gun does prevent a "crime" so that was just a little reference thread if that's okay.

Just wondering what FSA2013 had to do with the confiscated guns in that thread. Might have missed it, but didn't see anything FSA2013-specufic about it. I think it was already a crime to commit a crime with a firearm before FSA2013, and there were plenty of other laws already in place, too. My guess is that FSA2013 didn't have an effect, but I'd like to know if it did.

FSA2013 had the effect of making yet more law abiding citizens of this state into "accidental criminals" through ignorance of the law and the MSP's Kafkaesque interpretation of it.

    Wouldn't doubt that a bit.

Has it actually stopped a single violent gun crime? Its advocates keep lists and do government-funded studies of things like that at the drop of a hat, when it's to their benefit.

Anyone privy to an itemized list of FSA2013 negative effects?

    - No ranges in Balto City
    - New Purchaser’s Cost
    - MSP HQL Application Fee $50
    - Fingerprinting $54.50
    - Training…average $125
    - New Pistol…average $500
    - Total @ $700

    - Etc.

And all the time it takes now in order to purchase a handgun. The 7 day wait is effectively pushed to a month or more.
