I can buy a new 365 for 80% of lowest retail i have seen in md. I carry a glock 43 and have almost exclusivly for a year when my wife got a 365 and loaned me her glock. I shoot it really well, fast and accurate from a owb holster, qualify ccw at 100% with it and am very comfortable with all aspects of it, incl comfortable and discreet carry.
Use std 6 rd mags and carry an extra.
Sig is a good gun; i have probably fired 300 rds thru my wife’s, without any failures. Both with 10 and 12 rd mags. I would not carry with the 12 re mag. Have great confidence in the little glock, have holsters i like. The only down side is its 6+1. I am being lured by price. What do you think?
PS blue label pricing on a 48 or 43x is even less. How discreet are they owb with covering shirt like a tee or an untucked dress shirt?

An untucked button up shirt has covered a Glock 22 and a spare mag for me for 20 years. It helps if you're wider at the shoulders than you are at the waist.

I have carried Sig 229s and M&P40c's with no problem IWB holsters. That said, my Sig 365 is much less noticeable to me and plus it carries 13 rounds (with the 12rd magazine). The trigger is much better than a DA/SA and even better than my Apex Duty trigger in my M&P.

Over the past 20 years my waist has caught up with my shoulders. And I still IWB carry a Beretta 92FS and a spare magazine under an untucked t-shirt. In the winter, I will IWB carry the 92 with a X300 light.

Have to use the right holster.

I've got both pistols. My waist sometimes challenges my shoulders, but the shoulders are hanging in that fight.

I like the 43 a lot, but I shoot the 365 just fine, and that capacity is a no brainer.

Note: when I shoot the 43, my target perches on top of the front blade. With the Sig, I have to completely cover the target. Just how it us. For defensive shooting with a small concealed pistol, that's real hair splitting. I carry the 365 10+1, and the 12 round spare. I would never regret having to use the 43 if for some reason I had to ... but that capacity difference is very compelling.

More capacity is nice, but much comes down to how well it shoots for you. IMO the 365 has a better grip feel, better trigger, and is just overall smoother and faster to shoot, so I went with the 365 over the G43 personally, the capacity increase was a bonus. I do like it with the 12rd mag, and a larger grip can make it easier to shoot, so when carrying OWB I usually opt for that, otherwise it usually has a 10rd mag AIWB. I REALLY like some of the new options out, the G43X and G48 are awesome, the extra grip length isn't that noticeable, and they are still more comfortable and noticeably thinner than the G19 I ocasionally carry, but at 10rds they lack capacity, the 15rd shield arms mags correct that, but I'm not sold on buying a gun that requires an expensive aftermarket mag to hang with the competition. That competition being the P365XL, it's an epic pistol, handles and fires just as fast as my beloved G19, in the hand it feels full, you give up nothing compared to a larger gun, but it is really small, and at least the one time I handled it in a holster, it carrys like the P365 with 12rd mag. I have carried larger pistols in the past, My G19 was a favorite, and I still carry it on occasion, being I'm so comfortable shooting it, but technology has come a long way, while it can be done, there is no way it can be as comfortable, and concealable as a pistol that is significantly smaller and lighter.

Zorros, FWIW I'll tell you that my friend alucard there is a thorough "researcher". In the twelve years we've shared the board I've come to understand that if he holds an opinion, he's likely researched it really well. Living in a state that allows CCW doesn't hurt either...

I'm a glock guy, so you know what I'm going to say...

My next gun will be the 43X with 15 round mags. That's the best of everything, in my book. I currently have a G43 and like it, but 6 rounds leaves me wanting. The 43X is the same size slide, but I believe only 1/2" longer grip. Still very easy to conceal and lighter. My IWB holster for the 43 should also work for the 43X, so consider cost of buying new holsters in the deal.

    Either way, both great guns.

43X with the 15 round mags. Full grip much nicer than the small 43 grip with dumb pinky extensions, etc... I ditched the 43 for the X.
I ran a couple hundred rounds through the metal, 15 round mags without a hiccup. Recommend using the available metal mag release so the stock plastic one doesn't get chewed up.

Best carry pistol ever. Especially with the good forward cant from the Vedder holster.

I like a neutral cant, but regardless....wife and i went tomthe outdoor range today...had to ourselves...and i shot my 43 and her 365. My trigger finger has a blood blister from shooting the 43 wed ( will callus up again)..the sig fit my OWB 43 kydex holster pretty securely, full trigger coverage.
The tru glo sights on the glock r better than the sig sights by far in the bright light. Trigger is where i found a difference in that the sig is softer and spongier and better for me. The sig points more instinctively for me. I can quickly draw either gun, but i was using a 12 rd mag so the grip is a tad longer than with a 10 rd mag. I am pretty much up in the air. When i get like that i do nothing. I am starring at a $399;coupon for the sig ( one mag only). Or, i can wait and see if a blue label 48 or 43x is available and get one for less. Or stick with the 43. Really liked my 43 wed, not as much today. Sorry for the long post.

It’s a tough decision. I’d recommend running 1k rounds through each and then deciding.

I wonder where he could get that much ammo. :innocent0

Someone that takes the 6 feet distance seriously, it’s hard to chuck 1000 rounds 6 feet so each box gets sealed/thrown separate. Plus it insures freshness for another 4 years ;)
