Like the title says, what's the best way to drill a gas block?

I am good with my hands and I have a couple drill presses an a 30 ton press. I have purchased a geisell, sp, low profile gas block kit but I don't like the roll pin so I will be getting some Dowell pins. I just need advice on how to drill thru the existing holes in the gas block and hit both sides square.

Also what type of bit should I use for a stainless steel barrel?

    All advice is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Brownells sells the BRDE gas block pinning jig for $64. The jig is attached to a low profile gas block mounted on the barrel and then locked into a vice. You can drill the proper pin hole with a hand drill. The jig is set up for a #31 bit. If Brownells is out of stock on the jig, you can purchase it directly from BRD Engineering for $60. Just google BRD. There is a video on YouTube by a gentleman named NSZ85 in which he uses the jig to pin a gas block. I haven't done it myself, but it looks very easy to do with this jig.
    Good luck
