I will be curious to see the non hand picks . I should have taken a pic as it came in. Scotch tape all over the grips. Took grips off and took goo gone to it. The push button to take the slide off and the mag release were pretty seized up so ran break free through it to thin out the old grease. Got it cleaned up and put back together. Everything was matching so at least it’s not a parts gun cobbled together.

Mine came with the scotch tape too , it was keeping the grips tight. New ones arrived yesterday. Didn't get the hand picked option . Mag Release and Slide release work fine. Only issue I found so far was the magazine it came with doesn't hold the slide open on the last round. I picked up 2 additional mags at Chantilly last weekend and they do keep the slide open so not a big deal. The bluing on yours is a lot better.

That CZ.27 was one of those deals of a century we all dream of ... :)

You know I love me some Colt Model M's... that looks like a late teens/early twenties Type III?

Recently traded a handful of Toks for this really late Type III in .32 ACP, my first truly 100% condition, new-in-box Colt complete with hang-tag.
Love the coloration on the mag. Coincidentally a buddy ran across a correct mag for it in his parts bin and sent it to me gratis

Stunning! You run across listings where sellers claim "unissued" or "100 point example" but rarely do they match the description. In this case it's the real deal. Congratulations!

Just gotta see more photos of the Pocket Hammerless, No4 and Underwood (Italian stock?), those look great!
Been casually looking for an Underwood. Someday...

I didn't think Underwoods were that hard to find? I have a real nice Singer subcontract that isn't going anywhere.

Now getting that IP is going to hurt!

I havent had much time to take good pics, The Colt had the slide refinished but it was well done and the price reflected it IMO . The Underwood has the following that ive seen thus far.. Flat bolt, type two front band , lots of parts have a U mark but i havent had time to confirm if all U marked.

The Savage enfield.. No4Mk 1*, Savage marked bolt, savage marked front top handguard, rear stock and mag well , the top rear handguard "might be" a replacement as it doesnt have grooves?

Picked this stuff up today at a estate sale for a total of 44.00. Thought my buddy might like the Navy photo as he is stationed over in Italy right now. At first i thought it was a clipping from a news paper or something but i took it out the frame and it seems its a painting or lithograph signed.. Charles Allan Gilbert( gonna send it to him for Christmas). Kbar is camillus, Has later guard so i believe 60's era. Book was just cool.

You're in trouble now! My first of many, many Enfields was a No4 Savage too, South African marked.. Bought from the late Clyde who had that little hole-in-the-wall shop on Old Columbia Rd in Ellicott City roughly 25 years ago. I knew squat about them then. Chose it because it was interesting and immaculate. The 2nd was a BSA No1 MKIII*, also from Clyde. Remember geeking out over the fact that it was built by BSA, which I only knew as a motorcycle manuf (grew up on MCs, my Dad and brother had a Kawasaki dealership in the early 80s).

That's nice and lend lease guns have always held a special place in my collection. Back when we were the arsenal of democracy. Bought one a couple years ago off a member here that also was a South African reimport.
