Wolf A1 upper made from a T91 parts kit. Piston driven AR in 5.56, 1:7 twist 12.5 inch barrel pistol.

Relatively light weight and kind of fun to shoot.

My favorite thing about it is the "PATENTS PENDING" mark.

Yea, like you are going to let Beto “Buy that back”.

It’s a beautiful machine BTW. Thanks for sharing.

You might think this next comment is strange but I find myself wondering what it smells like.

Here is the blem special I just put together (upper). Those Troy quad rails weigh a ton but they are SOLID and feel great. For those considering an Engage product, that lower assembled with no fitting issues at all.

“I wish you looked at me like you do your guns” - my girlfriend.

Top is an HBAR build with Hanover Armory billet lower. Vortex Viper PST Gen ii 1-6x. DEZ Arms Nitride match barrel, superlative arms adj gas block. Shoots 1 moa all day long. Almost gets boring.

Bottom is Daniel Defense M4V7 Pistol with Trijicon MRO, DD fixed sights, and Saker 556 suppressor.

    Both with Geissele SD-C triggers.

Only pending addition is a Cloud Defensive OWL for the DD.

I shot my first 3 gun match this year and really enjoyed it. However, I could tell that my "class rifle" was built for reliability, not speed, so I built out a new upper for my pre-ban A1 clone lower.

I started with a used R15 pencil barrel, carbine gas tube, BCG, and misc parts I bought from UGS for like sixty bucks. I think the barrel is only 1:9 twist, but I wasn't planning on shooting anything heavy anyways. I found someone online selling an Aero M4E1 upper with 15" handguard for $120. I added in a Superlative adjustable gas block ($80), the RTB lightened carrier ($55), and a VG6 Gamma brake ($40). All told, the upper cost me about $355 sans optic, and that's with some parts left over. The lower is all Colt A1 parts, except for an RRA 2stage trigger and a BAD lever.

Shooting this thing was a revelation. It's light-weight, the recoil is minimal, and the muzzle has almost no rise. I never really understood how those guys in the 3 gun videos were just blazing through targets - half a mag through this gun, and everything became clear.

The optic is a Burris RT-6 on an Aero mount. I wish it were FFP, but it's otherwise a very solid optic for the money. Very easy to shoot both eyes open at 1x, surprisingly good glass, forgiving eyebox, and a nice integrated throw lever. If I ever get really competitive, it'll probably get swapped out for a Burris RT-8 DFP whenever that comes out, but it feels like it'll do the job for now.

    .

I was messing around with my AR and thought I would post a couple of pictures. Please forgive my attempt to take artsy type photos. LOL

Sig Sauer 416 upper, LWRC piston driven nickel coated bolt and carrier, Spikes lower, Fostech Echo trigger, Burris AR-Tripler magnifier, Holosun HS512C, Magpul MOE plus grip, Streamlight HL-X light. Magpul MBUS Pro sights, Heavy Buffers brand ant-tilt H2 buffer, and Gear Head Works Mod 2 brace. I think that's everything of significance. Enjoy.

Just going to point out, if the RRA trigger is the National Match trigger, it's not designed for fast shooting. They're known to not last long under heavy use.

Shooting this thing was a revelation. It's light-weight, the recoil is minimal, and the muzzle has almost no rise. I never really understood how those guys in the 3 gun videos were just blazing through targets - half a mag through this gun, and everything became clear.

My original 3-gun rifle has an SPR profile 18" barrel and standard weight everything else. That was basically the standard 10 years ago. While it was great for the time, it was very unwieldy for short hoser stages. I built a new one in 2015 with much lighter components, including a 14.5" pencil barrel and lightened BCG. Yeah, hosing targets is much easier with the new setup.

I finally assembled my Snowflake build. Nothing fancy, parts wise. The Spikes Snowflake lower, a Stag carbine upper, and a run of the mill parts kit. Magpul pistol grip and buttstock. The fun part is the color. I got it cerakoted with Gun Candy. The white parts are Pegasus, and it's actually a pearl, that was hard to get to show up in pictures. Barrel and accents are in Ingot, a nice metallic gold. I haven't decided what optic I want to put on it yet.

knovotny, that is very unique. I really like the hand guard and muzzle device. Let us know how it shoots. The accents are effective; you even did the mag floor plate! Nice touch.
