Bitch getting old! Taking grandson to a RSA, searched MD DNR for online Regulated Shooting License for him and unable to peal away the layers.

Located the link that seems to pertain to the land owner vs harry the shooter.

At a quick glance it would appear that whomever is running the operation needs a permit/license but not the shooter? (Unless they are one in the same)

The RSA has his license, he informed me that to hunt upland birds on any RSA, you need a MD license or a RDA license that cost (believe he said $6.00)

Go to the Compass Maryland site. You will have to establish a DNR ID if you don't have one. The Compass site allows you to purchase licenses and renew registrations for your boats.

I shot at Mason-Dixon Outfitters a few years back and yes, if you're doing a guided hunt where birds are released (as they are in most upland bird facilities in the east) the business must be licensed AND the hunters/shooters must have an RSA stamp/license. It isn't expensive, but it's a PITA given that you don't even have to have a license in PA to shoot at a privately operated upland bird facility.
