Thanks for the info. do you know if they are going to have on line bidding?

It looks like there will be online bidding. Here is a statement from their website:

"If you cannot be here during the auction, you can preview the items beforehand. We invite you to use our online bidding option at HiBid. You can register there to bid online. Bidding has never been easier! However, you can still call or email us to leave a bid."

The last several of these the firearms had a reserve on them starting at retail. in addition a bunch of bubba's bid up stuff so the good deals were few and far between. I am not saying that this will happen this time however the last two looked like a redneck truck convention with guys that had more money than sense.

I laughed at the "Redneck truck convention" reference. What would you expect from "Southern" Maryland, where Bubba thinks he is actually in the deep South. Many lifted, loud diesel pickups cruise the parking lots of Walmart around here, only offroading they see is their gravel driveways. I have been meaning to stop by the auction house for one of these gun auctions, might just make it this year.
BTW, did anyone make it to the last Hunters bash at the St. Leonard firehoue this summer? How was it? Did you when any toys. Went last year but got pretty bored, hounded too much to buy more chances at winning guns.

So they take commission then charge a buyers premium? So add 13% to the cost no matter what. Seems like a bit of a racket. Anyway I might check it out. Still looking for a good .22 rifle for my daughter.
