Time to renew my Fla ccw. Simple question - who will do fingerprinting. Tried over at county police in odenton and as soon as I said why I was told no way.

Here's a link: AA Co. Fingerprinting

It's a good idea to call ahead to be sure the person who does it is going to be there. I live close to the Edgewater station, and the person isn't always there during the posted hours.

What he said but below for the clicking impared.

You can have them done at any of the 4 Anne Arundel County Police Stations. Some of the Booking officers seem to think they can't finger print for the gun permits. This stems from an issue they had with MSP. Just don't tell them what your getting printed for.

Make sure to call before you go to see if there is some one to do the prints.

Also prisoners, sex offender registration, and court order finger prints take priority so there may be a wait.

Make sure you have the Cards (filled out, but not signed or dated), a check or money order for $5, and a goverment issued ID

I know someone who recently did it at AACPD Western and had no issues.I believe you though, just sayin'.There's also a place in Glen Burnie that does "digital",but I know nothing about them.

That's who I used. He has the same type of digital fingerprint scanner thing as the NSA. Super easy, nice guy, no mess on your fingers, open 5-6 days/week, no wait. Park in the parking lot north of the house, walk around to the front of the house and head up the stairs to the second floor.

fwiw, be prepared for a LONG wait at some of the AACo stations. i went to southern and the lady made a group of us wait for over 3 hours. i was on a time constraint, so i have no choice.

I'm going to give Annapolis a shot this afternoon for my Fl application. Their website says $5 per card. I'm sure they will be real sympathetic to the cause...

    I plea the 5th!
