So, I'm gonna change out the optic on my 18" noveske rogue hunter.

Currently a 1-4 pst. I'll go either 2.5-10 or 3-9. Should I get single rings or a one piece mount?
I'm leaning to the paired rings. Like ARMS or ADM.

    What say the experts?

It is personal preference. I have both mount types and honestly, I prefer an extended rail with Badger rings. There is more flexibility in ring height and eye relief with that set up.

After seeing what some folks to with two piece setups, I'd recommend getting a one-piece mount. Aeroprecision makes a nice one for not a lot of cash. ADM if you want a quick-release.

I use one piece mounts (Geissele) without built in cant on semi-auto rifles and individual rings on bolt rifles.

seems like there may be less 'slop' involved with one piece mounts, plus easy to have built in cant/elevation, so that's what i use on my various longer range AR's. i like the nightforce unimount. also using gg&g flt accucam on my 3 gun AR (no cant/elevation).

I have a scope coming for a semi auto 308. I like the larue 104. The rifle seems to shoot low with scopes so I'm considering a 10 or 20 moa cant. If it will clear a 50 mm objective,
