    Hello all,

I'm new to the forum. I like shooting, have a few toys, like Norton motorcycles, have a few bikes, like scotch and rye Manhattans, like long walks on the beach etc etc.. nice to meet you..

I picking up a Garand in .308 tonight and want to break it in on Sunday. I'll be in the Frederick area on Sat. Do you have any suggestions for where i may find some generic, non-match grade .308 ammo?

Dick's is at the FSKey mall but, other than that i'm unfamiliar with where I may find what I want.

    thank you in advance,
regards and have a great weekend all..

    Marc/fencr

It's not on the way this time.. but, I'll keep it in mind thanks.
Next time you're lingering in Frederick, also check out Gunrunners downtown (open Saturdays, but closed Sundays) ...

They stock a variety of ammo at reasonable prices, although 308 from Walmart is probably the best deal locally.

Ditto. We are so special we have TWO Walmarts in Frederick!

We like the new one. Clean. Haven't checked out their firearms section yet.

You know that the "old one" on Monocacy Blvd, is now the "new one" right? They closed the old one and moved across the street turning it into a second Super Walmart, so now we have two of those. My fantasy is that Bass Pro would move into the now empty Walmart building. Wouldn't that be nice?

Correct. I was referring to the one on 85 as ghetto. I believe that is the old, old one.

There's a Wal Mart somewhere that isn't ghetto? I need to check that out. Every time I walk out of one, I feel like I should go get checked for a staff infection.
