I see the CZ P-09 on the Maryland Roster in 9mm, but not in .40cal. I found a copy of a 2014 MD Roster and it listed the model number of 91621 which is the 40 cal. model. The other CZ gun models list multiple calibers on the latest roster but the P-09 only lists the 9mm. Does anyone know if the 40 cal. version is ok? If not, are there plans to add it?

I can't find the model 91621 on the roster anywhere. The online searchable version is here:

google is your friend, I am not.
I find it nearly impossible to find anything on the roster, even when I know I've seen it before. I am not even sure that the online list is legally binding (the online assault rifle list is not, there have been some notable issues with it). The best way to know for sure is to ask ask an FFL, or worst case email the person who runs the roster. If you see it in stock at a local store, it's legal. If it's a gunbroker or online purchase, ask the FFL before you transfer it.

If you have documents like meeting minutes that say the model was approved, that is the best. Probably means there is just a typo or something. It is a long and poorly organized list.

In the early days of the list, it did not get into the nth degree when identifying calibers. It would say 45 or 357 or all calibers. Later, they started approving per specific caliber and they even had erroneous entries.

I tried working with them to correct some errors but they only would address it if the manufacturer sent a request. Since this was back in the day when manufacturers weren't interested in working with States that had restrictive laws, I never got anywhere.

That said, in the last 10 years, the woman who works there now (sorry, I forget her name), has been very helpful in getting different calibers approved without even having to give them the gun.

Marlene Jenkins, and she is fantastic.

If the caliber you want isn't on the roster, but the basic gun is, all that has to be submitted is a "caliber addition" petition, which does not require the physical gun to be sent in.

If you, or a gun dealer does not submit one, neither MSP, nor the Board add it on their own.

Checked the roster for a Wilson Combat EDC X9 and it isn't (at least I didn't locate) listed. How does one get a handgun on the roster?

    Thanks

Is the gun a 1911 model? If so, contact Marlene Jenkins at the board and tell her that you want to have a different caliber for the same type of gun added. Wilson already has numerous 1911 models in 9mm so it will only require the board to vote on the motion. I think the required submission info is on the handgun roster web site.
