I wasn't challenging the authenticity, just curious where it came from.

Obviously DC smartly decided not to appeal for en banc

As a guy that has a CMP M1 Carbine on the way, I'm thrilled that I won't have to drag that puppy downtown to get it registered!

I talked to a young lady from the firearms registration section this morning and she confirmed the law/policy changes. She's mailing to me new updated registration cards, for my guns, that will not have expiration dates. I'll shred my dated cards upon receiving the new ones.

I've never waited more than 15 minutes for my registration cards and don't know of anyone who didn't receive theirs "on the spot" like I have. I believe the rules give them 10 days in case there's an issue with the background check.

Ok. That must be the reason. But if the place I buy it from in MD runs a NICS check when I go pick up a shotgun that gets delivered why should I have to wait an 10 days before I can get it?
