Outlaws parties have always been on the eastern shore. They were on the beach at oc in the 60's, the pocomoke forest, or on somebody'sfarmland. All had bonfires, booze, a generator for rock and roll, and hopefully girls. There just wasn't crazed people with shotguns invited.

Not kidding myself at all, and old enough to know that geography doesn't preclude stupidity/thuggery anywhere. That said, it's rather unusual to hear of a drive-by shooting this side of the bridge and certainly not something I want to see happen any more often.
I do wonder whether the victims know the identity and motive of their attacker and are just keeping quiet.

The problem is gangs moving into the area. After the incident at the Balto City Jail where the Blackpowermotherguerilla (or whatever) Gang was running their 'empire', City cops went out and arrested most/many/all of the higher ups. Other gangs saw this as an opportunity to move onto their turf now. The shooting was by a member of the 'Bloods' gang. And now apparently, that turf extends to the Eastern Shore.

Actually the problem in this case was the victims didn't have the means or maybe the opportunity to shoot back.
Well you know they were probably involved in something they shouldn't have been to get shot at in the first place
