I think this is a request for us to use “common sense” as much as possible. That’s just ridiculous.

I noticed Atterbeary's Twitter is "By authority the committee to elect Vanessa Atterbeary." I know that politicians are prevented from taking down posts on Facebook. Does anyone know if this applies to Twitter? I posted something and it is gone. I neglected to put up a screen shot. There were many pro 2A posts but I can't find any tonight. But, I am not skilled in Twitter.

The Moms Demand Action were very organized. A lady with single spaced listings of names and telephone numbers stood there and checked them all off. As soon as the doors were opened, they filled all of the seats in the gallery. Those of us who were to testify had to stand in the hallway. The overflow room was being used for a Delegates party for close to an hour after the hearing started. The Chair of the House Judiciary Committee mocked the 2 A supporters. He said where is everybody? He was right. We had very few people there to fight this bill. From what I have heard, it will get out of the House. Everyone needs to schedule a meeting with your Delegates and tell them how loaning a rifle or shotgun or receiving a loaned rifle or shotgun will get you up to 5 years and a $10,000 fine. This would make you prohibited from owning a firearm for the rest of your life. Stealing a firearm is a misdemeanor and is only a 6 month sentence. Stealing a firearm would not make you a prohibited person.
You will not be able to loan a shotgun or rifle to a friend for hunting.
Please meet with or at least call your delegate's office. Tell them you are against this bill ASAP! The Hearing took place, they are working on the bill now. We want to get them to take as many bad things out of it as possible, before it gets out of committee.
It looks like the Senate is waiting for this to get out of the house to do their own version of the bill. We need to let our Senators know our displeasure as well.
Please try to come out to the next hearings. With so few people coming out, we are looking like we don't care.
If you don't do anything and we get screwed again, look in the mirror when you want to blame someone.

They don't care about the Constitution. Their goal is to take guns away. They know they can't get them away from criminals, so they do in incremental infringement on our rights each year. Look at California. They require the registration of so called assault weapons. They mock gun owners who complained about the registration leading to confiscation. One or two years later, they ban the so called "assault weapons" and require everyone to get rid of them. They later followed up with knocks on the door and seizing the firearms.
We were promised back in 2013 that they weren't going to go after rifles and shotguns. They tried last year and are trying again this year. If we don't push back, we get screwed.

Dems are far more bold. Back in 2013, the mantra was “nobody wants to take your guns”. That’s gone. Now they boldly say “Hell yes we are going to take your guns”.

With Bush, Miller and Zirkin gone, there is a new radical leadership in the House and Senate, this could be a very bad year for gun owners in Maryland. Bloombergs Ill Informed Moms Demand Action are out in force. There were only a few of us crickets fighting back on Wednesday. If everyone doesn't get involved, we will get screwed.
