Just had a thought. And I'm sure it was been mentioned before. A form1 pinned & welded suppressor seems like an ideal way to achieve proper OAL for many of the too-short rifles out there. Tavor, ps90, etc...

    Yes, and one stamp.

But then you have tied up a suppressor on a single host.

    Pluses and minuses.

I would like to do a PS90 with short barrel and pinned/welded suppressor, and maybe a bit long LOP. :)

Definitely pluses and minuses there - but you could do like a 4.5" barrel 9mm with a pinned & welded suppressor and come out at 29". That could be interesting.

I read on here the other day that the ATF was changing the rules on the NFA trust requiring you to send in fingerprints with the trust and ATF form. but I cant find it now using the search function is this true and if so can some one point out the thread so I can look into it.

Check the above threads, but in short:

    - Yes, it is true.
    - It doesn't take effect until July, and anything submitted before then is under the old rules.

    1.5" OD.

Most rails are 1.5" ID, suppressor rails are typically 1.8" ID.
