Deer hunting with a 50 BMG is like shooting a squirrel with a .308 or dropping a nuke to take out a single tank. Gets the job done, but is completely overkill.

There is no "Overkill." There is only "Open fire" and "I need to reload."

While there is no such thing as "overkill," there is such a thing as "underkill," an arm so anemic and ill-suited to the task that even on it's best day it would only leave a critter wounded or even crippled, and fated to potentially long suffering. That is not ethical.

Not true. Even with a cull hunt the meat from the animal can be used. Whether it is personally or donated to a food bank. So destroying half the animal for funs is at a minimum wasteful and at worst is unethical and immoral.

First time seeing this video, maybe don't agree with everything about it, but man the power of that round is crazy!

It isn't about the gun at all. It's about clicks. He is telling the viewers to post comments below. If he used a .30-06 it wouldn't get any attention. It's a promo video an nothing more. And it worked.

Nice work. It took 149 posts for someone to mention it was a cull hunt. I amend my remarks that even though it's an eradication mission, meat should be conserved and donated.
