    Plinking again!
Not shooting for 16 years and in the last 5 weeks I have a new Marlin 795, S&W SDVE 9mm, Mossberg M500 410 24', and have shot tons of cans with the 22, and lots of Downey bottles with #4 game loads and 000 buckshot.

Not so great with the pistol yet, but Rome wasn't built in a day.

Welcome! We've been expecting you for a long time now.
Great to be back, I was surprised at how much I messed shooting cans, and how well I could do it after a long layoff. Worked my way back to 35 yards with a 90% hit rate.
Still getting used to semi-auto, was always bolt action back in the day, need to make myself take a little time between shots that the bolt forces.

Me too. After 15yrs of not shooting I could hardly hit an NRA target at 25ft with my 9mm. Get a big target, like a silhouette. Before you know it, you'll be back to those 3 inch groups. :)

    Welcome aboard.

I am just banging with the 9, never had pistol training.
I'm the city branch of a mountain family. The part of my family that taught me to shoot use .22's to keep the varmits off the property and add meat to the table, one shot one kill types, don't waste ammo even if it is cheap. The .22 lessons from childhood came back real quick.
