    Anyone know a smith that does good work in Harford or Cecil counties? Need to get a Mauser action drilled and tapped for a scope mount and I'm not gutsy enough to attempt it. (Don't worry guys, not a military gun with history. Just a small ring 96 project)

    Dave Stancil Badgersmith gunworks in Bel Air. Ive used him a few times and he does very good work but he is a one man operation out of his house so not the fastest. works by appt only.

    Ive used Village arms as well. They did an apex trigger and night sights on my M&P shield. Good work, fast turn around and good price

    Jack's Gun Works is good, he's a nice guy too. On a couple of simple things I've brought him he's done it while I waited and charged me "whatever I think is fair." More intensive jobs you may have to leave but he keeps regular business hours. It's a one man operation but I like knowing exactly who is going to be doing the work.

    I've used Dave several times for similar jobs...

    Work was always 1ST CLASS...

    Lives in Bel Air just off of 924, near Ring Factory Road...
