Apologies for the Enquirer headline....CnC texted me this afternoon (Thursday) to say that his lovely pregnant wife's water broke at 3pm so he is on Final Approach to Baby Land!

He asked me to invite one and all to post up here with ANYTHING that can keep him from freaking out as a first time dad.

God Speed CnC to you, your Best Girl, and to your Baby-on-the-way!

Do you realize how exciting it will be raising $250K to get your babe all the way through college? Fun, fun, fun!!!

When my first born was brought home from the hospital, I kept checking her every minute to make sure she was still okay. I don't think he can get any worse than that. :lol2:

Trust in your wife's ability to nurture and care for your child.

And after the kid can hold its head up (3 1/2 months or so), their physical care is immensely easier.

Just hang on and be the best you can be, they will know it.

Wish the best to all 3 of you

Being a father is the most amazing and stressful thing that will ever happen to you. I feel that anyone that is able to experience it is very lucky. Congratulations.

    Congrats!

Nothing like experiencing the birth of your kids. Truly a miracle to be witnessed!

Stress, yeah. Maybe for the first few years, then they go off to school, and high school, and learn to date and drive... Maybe 16/17 years worth, then u gotta think about college!

    Enjoy your family CnC!
