    Didn't it would be free , but for a person in need with no pistol , it would be very generous even if the recipient covered the MSP fee.

    The only thing I can think of is if she would gift the handgun to a very close friend of yours. Let him hold onto it. If you ever change your mind about an HQL, then he can gift it to you. Until such time, I do believe it is legal for him to loan that handgun to you, without you needing an HQL. :cool:
