Did your Model 60 originally have a wooden stock? I recently bought a 795 with a factory plastic stock, and was pleasantly surprised by how light the rifle is compared to a wooden stock model. Really a featherweight.

My model 60 was this one:

Problem is my wrist doesn't like bending that far for long periods of time.

Haven't you seen the forum rules???

Gun photos require at least one foot in-frame.

It doesn't look bad. If you want to spice up a 60, it's a good buy. My Dad's 60 was a squirrel killing machine.

    Congrats!

    Marlin 795

The ATI stock is pretty nice.
I put one on a Marlin 795, added tech sights, and dropped in a new DPI trigger, very nice. I need the length-of-pull to be longer, though, so I'm modifying it again so that it's adjustable.

We have two Marlin 795s, an XT-22, a Glenfield tube (basically a 60), and a Papoose. So, other than the tube-fed rifle, all the mags are interchangeable.

Here's some pics of the one with the ATI stock...
