Summary please, so we all don't have to click the link.

    I'll do this one:

Georgia man in Georgia with a ccw permit sitting on bench outside biergarten at night pulls small caliber handgun out and negligently fires a single round through his own hand. Bullet continues across the street and hits a woman, she dies.

Sad. Innocent by-stander is dead, and this guy's life is ruined too (involuntary manslaughter charges, plus I'm sure enough civil charges to completely bankrupt him). Article didn't indicate what prompted him to pull out the weapon in the first place, but nonetheless, as swinokur states, this is a good opportunity to remind ourselves of our responsibilities while carrying. Be safe, for your sake and the sake of all around you.

I did comment-reminding members to be safe. That's why it's in the Training and safety forum.

the summay says GA CCW accidentally kills woman.

The rest of the story is contained in the link.

I was not rude in the least. If you don't want to get the details, don' click.

Summarizing can lead to inaccuracies. read the facts as reported.

    simple as that.

It's both a curtesy to others and the forum rules, you know this; and I do appreciate your links almost as much as I appreciate and usually enjoy your comments, that's why I asked. There are a lot of links, more than most of us can click and read them all, helps prioritize and time management. Many links are hazardous, cookies, tracking, adverts or worse. This is increasingly a problem. Hence my gentle, courteous request. :)

Just a reminder, excerpt from forum rules:

"So when you want to reference an article:
    1)A link to the article.
    2)The title of the article.
3)A brief summation in your own words of the article."

Ok, that last edit helps explain a bit better.

Why do you think they mentioned the woman was from Texas, that seemed unnecessary. Also, the article said the gun went off" by accident. This is almost impossible, obviously the guy was most likely negligent. They mention the biergarden, also unnecessary, maybe to imply alcohol was involved?

    Lots to unravel.

me too. i think i did that.

    You did.

It amazes me as how some folks on this forum feel that if something is not done to their liking that they can then tell others how they want it done. Kinda reminds me of a liberal mindset.

Simple rule, don't want to read it in depth then don't click the link, you wasted more energy trying to tell someone what to do than just letting people decide for themselves if they wanted to read more.
