I'll be there as close to 9am as I can. Probably closer to 9:30. No sense in waiting in line.

    See ya there!

Got there at 10:00 with minor sleet on the way. At first I didn't find anything I fell in love with and ended up chatting with Lee2 at Blue Fins and Brian at South Carroll Sporting Goods for a good spell. Then I did one last lap and scored a beautiful Swedish M96 that turned out to be a pretty sweet deal. Then of course I had to buy more of those nice Made in America cases from Precision. Then more gun sleeves, then ammo for the M96... I swear I rarely leave empty handed.

p.s. : Parking conflicts with the dino show weren't too bad.

any more updates on the show? worth the trip up?

I was there mid-afternoon today. Not very crowded. I was looking for 1911 grips. Not much to see. Walked away empty handed. The show seems to get smaller each time I make the visit. Yet the price of admission never goes down.

I'm hoping to be there before 11 am. I'm shooting for 9-10 am, but it's Sunday morning, so I'm going to put my reservation in for 11am. ;)

I'm going to bail on this show. Haven't heard much of a report on what's available. I'll just save my money and hit the Oaks show in March.
