I really want to learn to hunt, especially deer. I'm 53, don't drink, and am pretty fit. I'm looking for someone who can help me learn how to hunt, where to go, take me with them etc. I currently have shotgun and center fire rifles. If you bow hunt or shoot muzzleloader I'll buy that and become proficient with it.
If anyone can help this city slicker become a hunter so I can fill my freezer and eventually teach my kid, I'd really appreciate it.
My goal is to hunt safely and effectively. Fill the freezer and enjoy the outdoors and the satisfaction of having the skill set to be self reliant.
I'm located in howard county and am willing to travel to get to good grounds.
