Finally got around to putting the Choate ventilated hand guard on it. Looks good with the walnut.

It would. That's actually a gripe I have with Ruger that with all the versions they offer, they don't have stainless&wood. If I come across a stainless&plastic for a good price, I'll pick it up and drop it into a wood stock.

I have a one that I bought from a fellow member on here, who bought it from Lou 45, that is a Stainless Steel in wood factory set up.
I believe it was a police model, as it has the bayonet lug and flash hider.
I think it looks great with a wood stock.
Other than ARs and one muzzle loader, I don't have anything without a wood stock.

Swapped out the sling . I wanted one that was quick and easy to adjust the length of but didn't want a M1907.

Wowzer that is purdy. On a separate but related note, has anybody used Outback Leather in Laurel for custom work? They seem like the real deal...

Maybe someone here can clarify, would the Sampson folder be gtg if the Mini-14 was owned prior to 2013? Does it matter if the Mini-14 was previously in a folding stock?

The folder stock guns were sold regulated while the wood stock guns weren’t, so I think technically because of that you still couldn’t put a folder on what was a wood stock rifle

...Not that I particularly give a shit personally. Your gun your choice. MD can piss off.

Love my Mini. Went a different way from the classic wood. Hated the poly stock and swapped it out for a hogue overmolded instead. No regerts.
