    1/4" thick

    30" oval for a bench base.

    Visit as many job shops as you can. Cash might expedite the part depending on the shop, their jobs and how their equipment is set up.

    Don't be surprised if most places tell you they aren't interested. The shop I worked out during high school was in a rural/farming area so a lot of walk ins with one off repair/custom 1 part work. The shop was loaded with long run contracts so if these guys didn't mind waiting a few months, their parts were eventually worked on.

    I'm hoping for someone closer. And no, I do not have a file for it.

    Is that something any idiot can make for himself?

    You can do it yourself, but it has to be done in a CAD program and most likely saved as a dxf file.
