That's not a stockpile of ammo. It's an investment account that can be converted to cash or bartered for goods if the economy takes a major dump. The most valuable and tradable commodity in the post-apocyleptic world in One Second After? .22 ammo.

    I agree with that 100%

I have quite the investment account of .22 ammo for that exact reason

You can never have too much ammo!!

The 25000 rounds sitting behind me hasn’t ever thought of killing children. The others you speak of have a weak constitution and probably shyte themselves when they hear load noises. So apples and oranges IMO

Maybe your ammo hasn't. But you've thought about sacrificing all the nuts in the world if it would bring back a loved one. Or locking up the nuts and liberals since they have a mental health disorder. Some might say that's just as nuts

    And they would be wrong

I came home from work last month, and my Mini-14, which clearly was in its cups, chased me around the house, firing wildly.

Someone posted about an M1 Carbine that floated in the air, turning from side to side aiming at people.

To me, this is unacceptable behavior.

Your Mini 14 obviously needs help. I would give it antibuse at least.

Frankly, alcohol causes many more problems than guns. We need serious alcohol control. I have some ideas along those lines.

People say prohibition didn't work. Well, not the first time. They say the same thing about communism, after all.

As they like to say ... "It was a good start."

Well, they said they never wanted to take your booze in the first place. They only wanted to take the booze of those who are "special". And of course there's certain booze only a few in society can be trusted to imbibe. Tequila, that's out right there. The choice of booze for hispanic gang bangers. Then there's the booze containers themselves. Who needs more than one sixpack?

Per you they're wrong. Per the politician that takes away your rights it's common sense. The last thing we need is to give the government more ways to go after people. Once they get that power they rarely give it up

That’s why we fight that type of politicians.

And in my life what I think is far far more important that what any politician or law says. I know right from wrong, the average politician not so much.

Common sense has been on the decline like family values for the last 40 years at least. And it all but disappeared in the last 20 in politics.

Make the legal age 21 to purchase and have a national 7 day waiting period, but gun policy is the answer. Not gun control= confiscation=socialistic/communist approach.

So an 18 year old can fight and die for the country that finds him too young to own a gun?

Someone who has a safe full of guns has to wait a week because why, exactly?

(Canadian SF writer A E Van Vogt based a couple novels on his statement "The right to own weapons is the right to be free." Not much freedom left in Canada.)

OP crapped on the membership in his recently disappeared thread. He doesn't think much of us or our dumbass opinions.

I hope the door doesn't hit him in the ass on his way out. That would be a shame...
