The recent passing of Sir Roger Moore has got me feeling all sentimental for a classic Walther PPK. Anyone spotted one locally?

Which PPK? The one German-made guns you'll have to look up on Gunbroker. The modern pot metal .22 version I would avoid. The American-made centerfire guns have a spotty record.

Bought one at the old Engage in Kensington a while back.

Get your C&R and you can pick one up and have it shipped to your door, no HQL, no MSP, no Maryland sales tax, no record of purchase in Maryland. It's like America still exists, out there.

    Good info here: http://www.waltherforums.com/forum/

No, I get it about wanting one similar to 007 . But your search will be much easier if you are flexible enough for a PPK/s in .380acp .

One of my friends snagged a beautiful pre-war Walther PPK with the Bakelite grips for a very good price at a shop in Moco recently.

Your PPK was like a laser. Shots go where one aims.

    You bought locally, too, right?

Saw it UGS. Always a desired piece for me, and the price was very reasonable.
We three shooters ~75 rds cycled with no problem. My wife was born and raised in Alexandria, so that was a good excuse to make to her as well..

Duffy's has had PPKs in stock.

Even with a threaded barrel for a suppressor.
