I need the handguard on this

But I'm not buying a $415.99 airsoft gun to get it. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/AEG_AEP_VFC_VFC_Avalon_Leopard_Carbine_AEG_Red.htm . Wondering if I can mod one of my current handguards to look like this, then I can be a Thundercat.

Contact them and ask if they or anyone else can sell that as a spare part?

I like that too I was thinking the same thing. Thundercat gun, but could you convert an air soft hand gaurd to a real ar hand gaurd?

I emailed them and they do not currently have it available for individual sale. Got to buy the whole gun for it. I did however find a website called unique -ars.com that might be able to make it. They do some wild stuff.

Plus, most AS HGs don't have the gas tube portion cut out of the top rail. Most are solid.

They're also not usually 100% correct in size and dimensions. A couple years ago they were making AK's that were supposedly mfg'd in the same facility as real AK's, or used demilled kits or something crazy like that. They were nice replicas, but not worth the 400 dollar price tag. Redwolf is also based out of china, and unless you're buying a ton of stuff the shipping is usually quite high.

That would be fine on my 9mm AR, since there's no gas tube.
