If you had gone to Gettysburg or Chantilly you would have gone broke.

Start small and gradually go to larger out of state shows.

Def hit up South Carroll Sporting Goods at the show. He has a chit ton of C&R handguns and some SWEET 870 Police Magnums in various configurations of different stocks, barrel lengths, etc. Also had a Bushmaster lower in stock (at least as of Wednesday) if you want a cool lower to build a pistol with.

I thought someone told me you couldn't buy anything "Bushmaster" in Maryland since Oct 13?

You can lowers and build them into pistols, per MSP. You cannot build it into an HBAR, that's a crime. If that seems totally stupid, you understand it perfectly.

I thought Bushmaster was banned by name?

I believe that only pertains to complete Bushmaster rifles, or lower receivers...upper receivers are ok as they are not considered a firearm.

I am talking about lower receivers, not uppers.

Call the MSP if you have questions. They are the ones approving the 77r forms for Bushwhacker lowers.

scroll down to Bushmaster because there is lots of confusion.
Bushmaster makes an HBAR AR-15 model that has been sold on 4473 in MD for years.

An AR lower as sold does not exist on the banned list as I understand (IANAL)

Bushmaster semi automatic rifle is banned, a receiver is not a rifle and hence can be sold in MD. However it can only be built into a AR pistol to be MD compliant
