Need help installing compensator

    You should be able to use the Crush Washer. No machining or indexing is needed for this.

    Dont us JB Weld or anything Plastic. Peel washers are not common anymore.

    As mentioned the Precision Armament Accu Washers are great. You need to use a device to isolate the torque to the barrel alone such as the Reaction Rod, BEV Block, or the Kley Zion.

    ThunderBeast supplies peel washers with their brake/flash suppressor mounts. And, IIRC, they will sell you just the peel washer.

    I just put a flash hider on tonight with a crush washer. As luck would have it, it had to go 1 complete turn to time right. It took me 5 or more cycles of tighten - loosen - tighten to get it there. You can use a torque wrench and set it to 15 foot lbs or just be careful. If you do this gradually you don't need to use a lot of torque.

    Will these fit a 6.5 Grendel build? A little late to ask. :innocent0 I juts put mine in a receiver block and tried to be careful.

    If you used a torque wrench set to 15# you didnt damage anything on the upper or barrel index pin.

    The tools will fit a 6.5 build. I hav not used the accuwashers on a 6.5.
