Ok, i am not trying to split hairs here, but to me, in my humble opinion, manslaughter.....to me, is something like a little old lady, who shouldnt be driving, mashed the gas and thought it was the brake, and ran over someone, negligent homocide, once again....to me, is two cops, BTW, who really really really really should have known better, playing russian roulette with a loaded handgun, and one ends up dead.
    Just sayin

Homicide is technically a manner of death. The charge is usually entitled murder in whatever degree and the degree usually stipulates the details. So yes it’s a homicide but it’s probably not exactly a murder. Admittedly i don’t know the wording of their statutes so who knows but the general definition of manslaughter fits better IMO.

So everyone is kinda saying the same thing just splitting hairs on terms.

They just showed a pic of the officer being charged and he's all beat up.

We wish it was officially “street justice” but the dickhead reportedly did it to himself smashing his face deliberately into a police cruiser after being put in handcuffs.

Apparently a play for sympathy knowing his booking photo would be all over the news.

Or maybe that’s just the story.

It was Her apartment . Those of us working shifts do things at different hours of the day than mundanes .

Unless her husband happened to be the shooter's unnamed patrol partner, nothing has been so far heard about husband .
