That's one hell of a "Cooling Off" period.

That's enough time to cool off and then get really angry about something else or at someone else just prior to picking up your new handgun.

This is only in the case of the NICS check being "delayed", correct? In that case, you can't pick up your gun after the federal 3 day wait for NICS, but no must wait up to 25 days.

So... how does this solve anything? Has there been cases of delays that have come back as denied after the 3 days?

Ah, yes, welcome to 2016 - thanks adit.

The New Jersey/New York migration continues to rear it's ugly head in Delaware. Moving out of their own self-created hellholes and busily turning someone else's home state into one.

I agree. The new liberial attorney general tried to change reciprocity in his first days of office. Looks like the people from New Jersy and New York will continue to migrate south for cheap taxes and less snow. Delawre will change for the worst. They already have problems with New Castle really running the state like we have in Maryland with three counties and Baltimore city doing the damage here.

The influx of N.Y. & N.J. residents into Sussex Co not doing any damage, some are seeking the CCW permit after they lived here a year so the right folks are moving here.

Last November the election Stats I saw on line, Sussex Co was 80% red, Kent Co was 70% red and New Castle was 40% red where the bulk of DE's population lives.

You have more to more to fear from Monkey Co. (et al) than we do here in "Slower Lower". DE Constitution has 2A protections, MD does not, we have O/S carry and 8500 CCW permits were issued last year and NO HQL's.
