I don't usually find myself recommending things but after using this sweatshirt hunting in wind and cold I can say that for me it is fabulous. I think for me the best part is that it is windproof (at least as windproof as one can expect). I wore it yesterday duck hunting with my insulated waders. Up top, underneath of it I just had a two light shirts, and nothing overtop. It kept me warm in the 30s even sitting in the open with a good little breeze. I caught this one on sale earlier in the year for about $25. I can't wait until next year when they go on sale again, I am definitely going to get some more of these. They also have one with a zipper that I want o get. Anyways, no matter what you are doing outdoors this might be a good addition for you. Just thought I would share.
